Low-profile output choke cores with distributed gap

Low-profile MSC cores are made of thin (20 µm) Fe-based amorphous ribbon. Due to their high saturation induction (1.5 T) such cores have a higher inductance coefficient and the opportunity to operate with a increased bias current. Distributed gap obtained through a special thermal treatment mode allows to reduce losses and cost and also to increase technological effectiveness.

Chokes, based on MSC series cores have smaller number of winding turns and respectively,lower wire losses and better opportunities for DC bias as compared to conventional soft magnetic materials: ferrites, magnetodielectrics and permalloys. тки, способствует снижению потерь, высокой технологичности, низкой стоимости.

Конструкция

Ribbon wound magnetic core is placed into a protective container made of aluminum alloy and mechanically fixed with silicone sealant.The container has rounded edges and is designed for direct winding of a thick wire. Moreover, the container provides a reliable mechanical protection of amorphous material and preservation of its properties. All materials comply with . UL94V-1/0.
