Standard Series of Assembly Impeders Return Flow

Standard sizes of return flow (R/F) assembly impeders based on ferrite cores issued by TDK (Japan) and intended for a high-frequency tube welding.

Standard Series of Assembly Impeders Return Flow

Return flow assembly impeders are recommended usually for cases where it is important and necessary to preserve in dry condition an internal diameter of tube being welded for example in production of tubes made of stainless steel or when a trimming of inner seam is necessary. In latter case, to provide a fixture of trimming device for inner seam for small inner diameter tubes, specially configures cores with cut out sector are used. For large size tubes, a fixture of trimming device for internal seam is made via a central opening of ZRSH core.

The requisite condition for secure and long-term operation of impeder is organization of reliable system of cooling and filtration.

The USM Company issues standard models of assembly return flow impeders for tubes having an inner diameter from 13 to 105 mm. Depending on a type of welding generator being used, a length of impeder should be from 230 mm for a solid-state generator and from 330 mm for a lamp generator.
