Thin Ring Cores Made of MPP THINZ Mo-permalloy

MPP THINZ cores are ring cores that are made of material containing 79% of nickel, 17% of iron and 4% of molybdenum powder and having an extremely small thickness from 1.5 to 2 mm. High temperature stability in combination with low losses, high saturation magnetic flux density and with a permeability being highest among other powder materials make these cores a perspective choice for a use in a series of applications and particularly in production of small-size high-stability inductance coils for operation in wide temperature range.

To minimize an increase of height and to decrease an internal diameter, cores are covered with a coating of "parylene" type. Maximum operating temperature for a coating of parylene type is 130 degrees. Nevertheless, the coating remains stable over a short time even at temperatures of up to 200 degrees (for example, at infrared welding).
